Unfortunately we do not offer services to individuals, nor are we able to provide legal advice. We encourage prisoners to bring specific concerns to the attention of Independent Prison Monitors. Friends and family members of prisoners can also seek advice from Families Outside (www.familiesoutside.org.uk), a national charity that works solely on behalf of families in Scotland affected by imprisonment.

We would also encourage prisoners to contact SPARC (Scottish Prisoner Advocacy & Research Collective) who can advocate directly on your behalf. SPARC provides independent advocacy and can help raise issues with the Scottish Prison Service (SPS), offer support through the complaints process, and liaise with relevant bodies.
